History
The herd joined the Association in 1952. Between 1961 and 1965, Don Adolfo and his brother Don Victorino Martín Andrés acquired the Escudero Calvo brothers’ herd. This brand had been founded in 1912 by the Marqués de Albaserrada. Don Adolfo Martín Andrés, who died in 1998, transferred the herd to his son Don Adolfo Martín Escudero in 1992. In 1997, Don Adolfo Martín Escudero applied for admission through the trial procedure and, after his cattle performed satisfactorily in the required events, was admitted to the UCTL in 2000.
