History: The Marqués de Villagodio established the herd in 1892 with Veragua cows and Trespalacios breeding bulls, adding two breeding bulls from Conde de Santa Coloma in 1917. Following the marquis’s death in 1920, it was advertised under his heirs’ name. In 1924, his widow sold it to the brothers Don Ignacio and Don Antonio Sánchez Sánchez de Agustínez, who changed the brand. Don Germán Pimentel Gamazo later acquired it and sold it in 1951 to Don Ramón Fernández Zumel, from whom Don Cesar Moreno Erro acquired it in 1958. Doña Isabel Núñez bought it in 1990, adding 100 of her own cows originating from Don Carlos Núñez. She sold it that same year to Don José María Aristrain, who advertised it as “Aguadulce”, adopted the current brand and acquired a lot of females from Hros. de D. Carlos Núñez. In 2018, cows and breeding bulls were acquired from Manolo González and González Sánchez-Dalp.
