- History
- In 1918 Félix Suárez founded this herd with cattle from Santa Coloma. In 1929 it was sold to the Duke of Tovar. From his death that same year until 1947, it was presented in the name of the Duke of Tovar's heirs. It was divided into five lots, and the share belonging to Rafael and Alfonso Figueroa y Bermejillo was sold to Tomás de la Cal. In 1959 he sold it to the García Fialho brothers, who sold it to Antonio de Veiga Teixeira in 1968; he expanded it with cattle from Oliveiras Irmãos.
