- History
- It was founded by D. Manuel Valladares y Ordóñez and passed after his death in 1893 to his heirs, who expanded it with cattle from Benjumea and Carvajal and advertised it as Valladares y Rincón. Around 1908 D. Manuel Rincón took over, removed all the previous stock and acquired cows and stud bulls from D. Fernando Parladé. In 1925 it was bought by D. Antonio Urquijo, who sold it in 1928 to D. Indalecio García Mateo. In 1938 D. Carlos Núñez Manso acquired it, adding a group of cows and stud bulls from D. Ramón Mora Figueroa and, in 1941, part of the Villamarta herd, creating a distinctive and legendary bloodline. Following his death in 1964, it was advertised as Herederos de Carlos Núñez. From 1999 to 2013 it was called Los Derramaderos. Since January 2014 it has belonged to the Núñez Dujat des Allymes family, grandchildren of the bloodline’s founder, and has recovered the traditional name Carlos Núñez. Today it consists exclusively of the current owners’ cows and stud bulls, descended from the lot inherited by their father, D. Carlos Núñez Moreno de Guerra, in 1985.
