- This ranch descends from the herd established in 1912 by the Marquesa Viuda de Tamarón with cattle from D. Fernando Parladé, originating from D. Eduardo Ibarra and of pure Vistahermosa stock. In 1920, D. Agustín Mendoza Montero, Conde de la Corte, acquired it with all its rights and changed the brand and ribbon colours to those used today. On his death in 1964, his nephew D. Luis López Ovando inherited it, and the ranch began appearing under the name Herederos del Excmo. Conde de la Corte.
