History
In 1951, D. Enrique María Valdenebro, Marqués de Jódar, bought from Dª María Amparo González Martín the lot she had received in 1949 when the herd of her father, D. Gabriel González, was divided. After removing all the previous cattle, don Enrique established the herd by buying a lot of cows and two breeding bulls from D. Juan Belmonte and Dª Julia Cossío. He advertised it as Marqués de Ruchena, another title held by Mr Valdenebro. In 1985 he transferred the herd to his children, who advertised it as Jódar y Ruchena.
