History: The herd was founded around 1882 by Eloy Lamamié de Clairac with cattle from Mazpule and Martínez cows of Colmenar stock. In 1912 he acquired two breeding bulls from Fernando Parladé. In 1913 he removed all the existing stock and rebuilt the herd with cows and breeding bulls from Gamero Cívico, formerly Parladé. Following Rafael's death in 1941, the herd remained intact until 1950, when it was divided into five lots. The lot belonging to his widow, Alfreda Blanco Alonso, was sold in 1958 to Javier Solís. He removed all the existing stock and acquired half of Bernabé Cobaleda's herd, the share belonging to his son Juan Cobaleda, presenting it as ‘Solís de Casablanca’. In 1974 it was acquired by Julio A. de la Puerta y Castro, who introduced fresh blood through breeding bulls from Salvador Domecq, Marqués de Domecq and Moura.
