History: In 1884, D. Carlos Conradi bought most of D. Ángel González Nandín’s ranch, which descended from the herd established in the late eighteenth century by the Marqués de Casa Ulloa. In 1904, D. Carlos added a breeding bull from Eduardo Ibarra. The ranch passed in 1911 to D. Juan Bautista Conradi and, on his death, to his children. In 1952, it was divided among them, and one share was sold in 1955 to D. Rafael Espinosa de los Monteros. Dª Carmen Rodríguez y Villadiego acquired it in 1981 and sold it in 1987 to the Soto de Luis family. In 1992, D. Álvaro Martínez Conradi acquired the brand rights, retaining the design, seniority date and ribbon colours. He transferred to it the entire La Quinta cow herd, which had been formed with cows and breeding bulls from D. Joaquín Buendía purchased in 1987.
