History
Dª María Concepción Mencos Amedo established the ranch in 1962 with cattle bought from D. Ángel Sánchez Rodríguez of Jaén. In 1968, she applied for the admission test and joined the Union in 1973. She then sold the ranch to D. Antonio Doblas Alcalá y Hermanos, who added a group of females and a breeding bull from D. Carlos Núñez. In 1990, D. José Luis Martín Lorca acquired the ranch, eliminated all the previous stock and changed the brand. He rebuilt the herd with cattle from Cebada Gago, Torrealta and D. Juan Pedro Domecq, later adding a group of cows and a breeding bull from Toros de El Torero.
