- History
- One of the lots into which the Ramos Paúl herd, formerly Villamarta, was divided was acquired by D. Ignacio Sánchez de Ibargüen and sold in 1958 to D. Joaquín Manuel Murteira Grave. He removed the cattle he had acquired and bought cows and a breeding bull, Sargento, no. 46, from D. Juan Guardiola Soto, formerly Parladé. He joined them with the Pinto Barreiros cattle he had already owned since 1944. In 1974 he bought two breeding bulls of the Rincón line from D. Carlos Núñez. In 1985 he introduced a breeding bull of the Tamarón line bought from D. José Luis Vasconcellos, formerly Coimbra. In 1987 he bought a breeding bull bearing the brand of D. Francisco Rivera ‘Paquirri’, of Núñez origin and the Villamarta line. Two breeding bulls bearing the brand of D. Juan Pedro Domecq Solís were added in 1994. Finally, in 1995, 30 cows and a breeding bull bearing the brand of Herederos de don Carlos Núñez were acquired. Finally, two breeding bulls from Jandilla were added in 2003.
