- History
- In 1914, the Flores brothers established the herd with cattle acquired from Don Eduardo Olea, later adding a lot of cows and a breeding bull from Don José Vega, and advertising it as Samuel Hermanos. In 1925, they acquired cattle from the heirs of Don Luis Gamero Cívico y Torres, whose herd had been sold to Don Juan Domínguez Delgado, from whom the Flores brothers acquired it. After the Civil War, Don Samuel Flores reorganised it, continuing to advertise it as Samuel Hermanos. In 1968, it was transferred to Agropecuaria Sierra Morena, S.A., and Don Samuel Flores Romano has been listed as managing director since 1969.
