- History
- This herd comes from one of the shares into which Don Ramón Gallardo González's herd was divided, inherited by his daughter Doña Emilia Gallardo Santos of Los Barrios, Cádiz. In September 1949, Don Pedro Domecq y Rivero, Marqués de Domecq D’Usquain, purchased it, initially adding cattle from Don Juan and Don José Belmonte and subsequently, in 1951, from Don Juan Guardiola. In 1955, Don Pedro Domecq sold the herd to Don José Villar Vega, who sold it in 1959 to Núñez Hermanos. They in turn sold it to Don José Luis and Don Pablo Martín Berrocal. The Núñez brothers bought it again in 1981 and sold it to its current owner in 1983.
