History
The herd was founded in 1912 by the Marqués de Albaserrada with females and breeding bulls from Conde de Santa Coloma, of Saltillo origin. The marquis died in 1920, and his widow sold it to Don José Bueno in 1921. In a division in 1928, a share went to his widow Doña Juliana Calvo. In 1941, her nephews inherited it, advertised it as “Escudero Calvo Hermanos” and sold it to Don Victorino Martín in 1965.
