- History
- Don Joaquín Zalduendo established the herd with Navarrese cattle in the late 18th century. It passed through successive inheritances to children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren until it was sold in 1939 to Don Martín Amigot Serna, retaining its original brand, seniority and colours. His son Don Javier Amigot Sánchez took charge in 1946. It was acquired by Sociedad Anónima Villaralto in 1965. In 1987, it was sold to Don Fernando Domecq Solís, who retained the brand, earmark and colours, removed all the cattle and re-established it with his share of the Jandilla herd. In 2014, the herd was acquired by Zalduendo S.L.U.
