Durango’s Monumental Plaza de Toros Alejandra hosts the Gran Corrida de Calaveras on Saturday 31 October. Promoter Pasión por el Toro has scheduled an evening event linked to the Day of the Dead celebrations, starting at 20:00 in Durango.

The bill pairs rejoneador Andy Cartagena with matador Luis David Adame. Four Coronado bulls are announced for a mixed corrida combining Cartagena’s horseback performance with Luis David’s work on foot.
The bullring’s decoration draws on Day of the Dead imagery. The event is part of the promoter’s closing programme in Durango, which also includes a second evening linked to the commemoration of the Mexican Revolution in November.
