Event report

Event held in Madrid, at Las Ventas bullring, on 7 June 2026. Bulls from Domingo Hernández and Toros de Cortés were fought, with reserves from Victoriano del Río, Domingo Hernández and Toros de El Torero, by matador Borja Jiménez.

Borja Jiménez faced all six bulls alone in the corrida in memory of Ignacio Sánchez Mejías. He took a lap of honour after the fourth and acknowledged applause after the replacement fifth, but sword failures prevented him from winning ears. Replacement bulls were used in the second, third and fifth turns.
