Aguascalientes: a mixed bullfight for the city’s anniversary
Actualizado el
Aguascalientes’ autumn programme was scheduled to open with the city’s 451st anniversary bullfight. The Monumental billed horseback bullfighter Emiliano Gamero alongside matadors Antonio Ferrera and Leo Valadez on 24 October.
The start of the autumn programme
The event was part of a four-date October–November programme organised by Espectáculos Monterrey. The opening combined horseback and on-foot bullfighting, with cattle from Arroyo Zarco and San Fernando and an announced start of 17:30 local time.
Leo Valadez provided local Aguascalientes representation alongside Ferrera and Gamero. The season then continued with the Corrida de Calaveras, the Cristo Negro del Encino novillada at San Marcos and the Monumental’s anniversary.
