The Corrida de Calaveras is the second date in Aguascalientes’ autumn season

The Monumental de Aguascalientes hosts the Corrida de Calaveras, the second event in EMSA’s autumn season. Diego San Román, Isaac Fonseca and Víctor Hernández will face Xajay bulls on 31 October at 17:30 local time.
A bullfight linked to the Festival de las Calaveras
The event forms part of the celebrations around the Day of the Dead in Aguascalientes. Its place in the calendar gives it a distinct identity within the season: it follows the city’s anniversary bullfight and precedes the November events.
The trio brings together Mexico’s Diego San Román and Isaac Fonseca with Spain’s Víctor Hernández. Xajay is the breeder selected for this particular date, while the autumn programme uses other breeders and formats for the Cristo Negro del Encino novillada and the Monumental’s anniversary.
