The bullfight announced at the Oriente bullring for 23 October 2026 did not take place on that date. The promoter proposed moving it to 2027, with no new date confirmed.
The original announcement and its status
The original bill paired horseback bullfighter Javier Funtanet with Juan Ortega and Isaac Fonseca, facing cattle from Arroyo Zarco and San Fernando. Promoted by Redondeles, the evening was intended to combine horseback and on-foot bullfighting at San Miguel de Allende.
The event had no valid municipal authorisation. Any new event requires the relevant permits and fresh confirmation of its date and participants. The poster is retained as a record of the October announcement; it does not confirm a bullfight in 2027.
