The opening bill of the Tlaxcala fair paired José Luis Angelino, Diego Silveti and Juan Ortega at the Jorge “El Ranchero” Aguilar bullring on 24 October. The date was set to mark Angelino’s retirement from the ring.
A day with special meaning for Tlaxcala
Redondeles organised the fair’s opening with six bulls from Las Huertas. The announced start was 17:00 local time. Angelino, who was born in Apizaco, was saying farewell before the supporters of his home state.
The local matador shared the bill with Diego Silveti and Seville’s Juan Ortega. The Jorge “El Ranchero” Aguilar bullring therefore brought together three different careers for the first bullfight in the Feria de Ferias 2026 programme.
