Ubrique hosts the second novillada of the XXVII Encuentro Andaluz de Escuelas Taurinas on Saturday 14 November. Originally scheduled for 3 October, it was postponed because of television production and scheduling changes, with the same participants and breeder retained.
School students face El Torero novillos
The bill brings together Pablo Sánchez, Javi Spinola Rivera, Armando Rojo, Mario Torres, Rojas Ramírez and Juan Manuel Viruez with six El Torero novillos. Mario Torres and Juan Manuel Viruez represent Ubrique’s bullfighting school; the others come from the schools of Almería, Tomás Campuzano-Triana, Seville and Ronda.
The event is part of the Proyecto de Fomento de la Cultura Taurina de Andalucía 2026, with a broadcast announced on Canal Sur. The start time remains unconfirmed. The meeting’s poster retains the original 3 October date marked as postponed; the current date for this event is 14 November.
