La Misericordia closes the Pilar Fair with its mounted bullfight. Rui Fernandes, Diego Ventura and Duarte Fernandes will take part in the opening procession, in that order, facing six bulls from Ángel Sánchez y Sánchez.
The final event in the season-ticket programme
The event on Sunday 18 October closes the programme that began on the 10th. The announced series combines one novillada with picadors, five bullfights and this horseback bullfight, the only event in the season-ticket programme devoted to mounted bullfighting.
The 2026 programme pays tribute to Dr Carlos Val-Carreres Guinda. After the previous days’ bullfights, the trio of mounted bullfighters takes centre stage for an event with its own line-up and breeder. The town council and the bullring’s website list the same three participants.
