Álvaro Serrano will face Saturday's novillada alone, an afternoon that will see him take on bulls from six brands: Fuente Ymbro, Montealto, Conde de Mayalde, Torrehandilla, Domingo Hernández and Julio de la Puerta. The variety of breeders is a key feature of the line-up and allows spectators to compare how the novice bullfighter responds to animals of different bloodlines. He will handle the entire event, a novillada with picadors.

Serrano comes to this engagement after opening Las Ventas's Puerta Grande on 12 May 2026, when he cut an ear from each of the third and sixth Montealto young bulls. That achievement provides context for his October return, this time alone. The afternoon of the 10th belongs to the second part of the Autumn Fair and is separate from the Camino hacia Las Ventas final without picadors on Friday the 9th.
