Why Pamplona holds the Feria del Toro
The name Feria del Toro was introduced in 1959. The Casa de Misericordia decided to focus on selecting breeders and on the bulls' physical presentation. That choice gave the festival its name and has defined its character ever since.
The breeders of San Fermín
Fuente Ymbro, Cebada Gago, Victoriano del Río and Toros de Cortés, Álvaro Núñez, José Escolar, La Palmosilla, Miura and Jandilla were announced for the corridas in 2026. The list of brands for 2027 remains unconfirmed.
The latest programme from Pamplona
The 2026 fair began on 5 July with a novillada and continued on the 6th with mounted bullfighting. The eight bullfights were scheduled from the 7th to the 14th. Its line-ups included Morante de la Puebla, Borja Jiménez and Pablo Aguado with Álvaro Núñez bulls. These dates and combinations belong to the 2026 edition.
